2019 Medical Mission to Uganda
We will be closing down the office from Oct 28- Nov 8 to travel to Uganda with a team of 14 various medical providers from Colorado to host free medical outreach clinics throughout the country. The team will encounter a host of illnesses from HIV to malaria, malnutrition, bacterial infections and also, a lot of back pain. We are super excited to offer the same quality MDT mechanical assessments to the underserved in Uganda, as we do in our office in Boulder. MDT, with its emphasis on patient education and sustainable self-treatment solutions- coupled with no need for special equipment or medication- make it perfectly positioned to help bring huge relief to musculoskeletal conditions, even in a short-term medical mission effort. We will help tech them how to manage their own symptoms long after we head back to Colorado!
Please help support our cause by clicking the link above and donating to participant “Alli Romportl” . All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to funding our efforts in Uganda! Every dollar helps us reach our $2700 fundraising goal by Oct 23rd. Check back often for updates on the trip or follow us on Instagram @dynamic_alignment.
Here. Near. Far.
Our practice strives to embody a charitable imitative we call “Here. Near. Far.” Our aim is to provide access to quality musculoskeletal assessments, sustainable treatment straggles, and education to anyone with physical pain and discomfort- regardless of their financial means or remote location. We believe in supporting quality care for the less fortunate in two ways: 1 by donating 10% of our service fees to support local and far off organizations. 2. offering our time and professional expertise to people in our office, local community, and internationally at free or reduced rates.
In office.
Dynamic Alignment sets aside 10% of our in office appointment time to be heavily discounted or free. You will not need to convince of of your eligibility, simply let us know you’d like to be a part of “Here. Near. Far.” and our full services will be available to you. In Colorado.
We are in the process of creating partnerships with organizations in the Boulder- Denver metro area to come into their facilities to provide chronic pain education and treatment to in need Coloradoans. We are also available to volunteer to supervise your run/walk fundraisers. If you are part of an organization that would like a speaker on physical health, pain management education or back pain prevention, please contact us!
In the World.
Dr. Allison has been able to travel to places like Haiti and the Dominican Republic to offer skeletal care, and another trip to Zambia to work in physiotherapy department in Beit Cure International Hospital, which specialize in free surgical and physical rehabilitation to children with club foot, cerebral palsy and other devastating physical conditions. We’re also excited to support an organization called Mechanical Care Everywhere which offers McKenzie Method to remote Peruvian villages. We hope to offer free MDT care in partner clinics in South Sudan, Uganda and Afghanistan in the near future!
